[UPDATE providing more details, including times]
Staging For Arlington HOTH Mission Saturday August 4th
The ride plan for those desiring to accompany Tiny Minton, California Ride Captain, to his final destination in Arlington is as follows:
Ride Captain: John Kisel jki659 at netscape.net 972-814-9224
Staging: will be from 1230-1325 at the Cracker Barrel, I-20/820 and Winscott Rd (Exit #429B). Physical address is: 8010 SW Loop 820, Ft. Worth, TX.
Safety Briefing will be at 1315 after which all Riders will be mounted and waiting on the crew from Ranger at 1325.
Weather: Isolated thunderstorms with 30% chance of rain with a high of 93. Start hydrating the night before - Saturday will be too late!
There is a gas station at this location and all Riders need to be fueled, fed and ready to roll. From notification of the Ranger contingent approaching, kickstands will go up and we'll be moving.
This HOTH Mission is to support the movement of an OIF/OEF Veteran's household goods from California to his home in Arlington. This Hero was recently released from the VA Hospital and this Mission is a joint effort between the PGR and Soldier's Angels.
Iron Horses if you can, flags on bikes will be great and cages are always welcome and appreciated.
Please remember that our Mission is to Stand Tall and Silent for this Veteran.
All bike groups are welcome to ride with us.
Respectfully,
John Kisel
