SHORT NOTICE - Ed Hurt, WWII Army Air Corps Vet, Dallas, TX - 13 & 14 Aug 07

This is the final itinerary for the mission to honor the memory of Mr. Ed Hurt, father of Patriot Guard Riders Barbie and Dennis Van Order

This is a two-part Mission

Part I
Memorial Service:  Monday August 13, 2007 2:00 PM at Park Cities Presbyterian
Church, 4124 Oak Lawn Ave. Dallas, TX 75219.  

Staging:  Will be at the church at 1:00 PM.
                                      
>From Central Expressway Hwy 75, take the North Fitzhugh Ave exit and go west which turns into Wycliff Ave.  At Oak Lawn, turn south and the church is on the right hand side of the road.

This will be a memorial service only and we will set up a flag line at the church.

Rick needs 10 flag bikes to accompany the family from their residence to the church.   Please contact him at the numbers above ASAP for staging information.

Part II
Internment: Tuesday August 14, 2007 10:00 AM at the DFW National Cemetery.

Staging:  At the Jack in the Box/Race Trac located at 4004 S Belt Line Rd Grand Prairie.  From IH 20 take the Belt Line Road Exit 457 and the staging will be at the southwest corner of the intersection from 8:30 to 9:05 AM, KSU 9:15 sharp.

Service begins at 10:00.

Rick needs 10 flag bikes to accompany the family from their residence to the cemetery.   Please contact him at the numbers above ASAP for staging information.

Weather:  Hot, Hot, Hot. Please make sure you start hydrating the night before and keep yourself that way as temps will be in the 100's. 

Bring flag poles and flags if you have them, flags on bikes would be great. Cages are always welcome.

Please remember that our mission is to Stand Tall and Silent, with honor and respect for this fallen Solider and his family.

All bike groups are welcome to ride with us.
