PGR_NTX Patriot Guard SHORT NOTICE Honor Mission, SPC B. Long, Sherman, 16, 18 & 19 AUG 07

[Mission Information For North Texas PGR]

PATRIOT GUARD:
 
This is the final itinerary for the Patriot Guard Mission to honor Spc. Braden J. Long, 19, of Sherman, TX, who gave his all for his country and to protect our freedom.
 
This is a multi-part Mission.

The Ride Captains:

  Gary "Thumper" Winters  (cell 903.815.8333)
Part  1.  Accompany Spc. Long from the Grayson County Airport, Thursday, 16 AUG 2007, at 1030 hrs.
Staging will be at the Airport at 4700 Airport Dr., Dennison, TX.
 
Part 2.  Family visitation, Saturday, 18 AUG 2007, at 1600 hrs.  Flag line in place by 1530 hrs.
Staging will be at the Waldo Funeral Home, 619 N. Travis St. Sherman, TX, starting at 1500 hrs.  Take the North Travis St. exit off HWY 75 in Sherman, go South, the funeral home is on the East side of the street.
 
Part  3.  Services, Sunday, 19 AUG 2007, at 1400 hrs. at the Faith Church, FM 1417 and Taylor St., Sherman, TX.
Staging from 1200 to 1245 hrs at the Office Depot parking lot, southwest corner of HWY 75 N. and HWY 82 W.  Riders' meeting and paperwork to be completed with KSU at 1300hrs.
 
Weather:  Hot, 95+ degrees.  Be sure you hydrate the night before and stay hydrated throughout the day.  Iron horses if you can.  Bring flags and poles if you have them; flags on bikes would be great, but if you are in a cage, bring your big flags and any extras if you have them.

ALL BIKE GROUPS AND CAGES ARE WELCOME TO RIDE WITH US ON OUR MISSIONS.
 
Please remember that our mission is to respect and honor this fallen soldier and his family.  Stand tall and silent as we salute this true American hero for his greatest sacrifice.
