Prospective Road Guard Class

Recently a McKinney Motor Officer, and PGR member, has made the offer to teach a ½ day school for road guards to improve our riding skills and provide us with additional information for the purpose of integrating PGR road guard into their standard operating and safety procedures.

This particular class will be for road guards and potential road guards. Since we work under their direction and their liability exposure, one of the requirements from all LEO's is the purchase and installation of additional visibility and lighting equipment.

The first of these classes is tentatively scheduled for sometime in mid September.

The class will cover how LEO are trained, their safety procedures, the do's and don'ts of escorting and their expectations from us as we work together. This will deal with standard operating procedures as taught by the State and will allow us to work uniformly with other LEO's.

This is not a safety riding class but will be more class room related instruction.

This is being coordinated by Robert Coffman with my assistance.

Please contact me at the number listed below if you are interested in taking the class.
