The City of Crowley has invited the Patriot Guard to participate in their
"Celebration of Freedom" parade on Saturday, July 7, 2007. Please take note
of the staging time - this is a parade and they will not be able to
accommodate for any late arrivals.

Ride Co-Captains: Mark "BluHog" Ingersoll (817) 938-3544 (cell)

                            Wendy "HotLips" Ingersoll (805) 587-9453
(cell)

MISSION: The parade starts at 1000 and will go for about 30-45 minutes.
This will be a slow-moving parade through downtown. There is a plan to
minimize the clutch hand cramps, as well as wear and tear on the clutch, and
this will be disclosed at the safety briefing. Flags for your bike if you
have them....the more the better!

STAGING: Diamond Shamrock/Valero gas station located on the northwest
corner of I-35W and Rendon/Crowley Road (FM 1187). Staging time 0830 to
0900; short safety brief at 0900 with KSU up 0910. We will then ride the
3.5 miles to the parade staging area. The Diamond Shamrock has a mini mart,
and located across the street are a Shell station and Waffle House
restaurant for those who arrive early and may want breakfast.

WEATHER: Current weather forecast for Crowley on Saturday - Mostly cloudy
with a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the lower
90s. Lows in the mid 70s. Please dress accordingly and don't forget to
hydrate - hydrate - hydrate!

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the parameters set by the parade officials, they will
be able to accommodate no more than 30 bikes, so unfortunately we will only
be able to take the first 30 bikes that arrive and no cages.

This is one of those special missions that allow us to mingle with the
public on a good note. There are no other plans for the Patriot Guard other
than the parade, but we have been invited to join them for the days'
festivities.

>From the City of Crowley:

"You will meet some heroes as one of the pilots for the USMC Cobra Gunships
has recently returned from Afghanistan and was awarded several medals for
his actions. You are welcome to stay at the park afterward or return later
for the flyovers and helicopter demo as well as the fireworks. The Cobra
demo is at 5:45pm and the FA-18 flyover is at 7:00PM."

Hope to see you there!
