PGR_NTX Patriot Guard Mass Mailing on Missions for the Coming Week

North Texas Riders,

Yes, we've been inundated with Missions the past couple of weeks and sadly,
death isn't taking a holiday.  Once again, we apologize for sending out yet
another mass-mailing, but it makes sense to put all of them in chronological
order to keep them straight.

 

 

TODAY NOV 21 - This is the Final Itinerary for the Patriot Guard Mission to
honor Richard Corn, WWII USAF Veteran who passed away on November 17, 2007.
This Mission is confirmed, all contacts have been made. 

Ride Captain: Bill Sides (972) 935-8016

Staging:  November 21st, 2007 1245-1315 Jack-in-Box/RaceTrac located at the
SW corner of IH 20 and Beltline Road.  All first time Riders will sign the
Liability Release Form prior to the Safety Brief.

Departure: KSU at 1330 from the staging area to the cemetery. Flag Line in
place by 1350 to receive the arrival of family and friends. All bikes will
present a uniform appearance as we ride in a staggered formation 

Internment: Internment will be at the DFW National Cemetery at November
21st, 2007 1400

Weather: temps in the mid 60's, windy, cloudy, but this is Texas so come
prepared

Iron Horses if you can.  Bring flag poles and flags if you've got them,
flags on bikes would be great.  Cages are ALWAYS welcome and appreciated!
The Support Truck with flags will be there.

Please remember that our mission is to Stand Tall and Silent showing honor
and respect for this Veteran and his family. 

All bike groups are welcome to ride with us.

FRIDAY NOV 23 - SHORT NOTICE Confirmed Mission Mr. Foster O'Neal, USA WWII
Veteran, Denton, TX 23 Nov 07

Funeral/Time:  Deberry Funeral Home 2025 West University Dr., Denton, TX at
1130, 23 November 2007

Internment: Internment will be at the DFW National Cemetery at 1400, 23
November 2007
 

This is the Final Itinerary for the Patriot Guard Mission to honor Mr.
Foster O'Neal, 29 year Veteran who passed away in Denton, Texas.  

This Mission is confirmed, all contacts have been made.

This will be a two part mission:

Part one is we need some bikes (Freeway speed flag bikes would be great) at
Deberry Funeral Home 2025 West University Dr., Denton, TX at 1030 for a 1130
service (Flag Bike Riders Please contact Hal at 214-213-9575). 

We will have the flag vehicle there and will put up the flags and have a
small flag line. After the funeral we will lead the procession from the
Funeral Home in Denton to the DFW National Cemetery 

Part Two is staging at 1245-1315 Jack-in-Box/RaceTrac located at the SW 
corner of IH 20 and Beltline Road.  All first time Riders will sign the

1130, internment at DFW National Cemetery at 1400.  Bill "Rotorhead" Holcomb

SUNDAY NOV 25 - Welcome Home Mission for SPC Matt Hoffman's return from Iraq
SUNDAY Nov 25 (Itinerary to follow) starting with a Flag Line at DFW and
ending at Starbucks in Waxahachie where the Manager is pouring FREE coffee
for Patriot Guard Riders!  Ride Captain is Bill Sides (972) 935-8016

 

 

SATURDAY - Dec 1st Welcome Home Warrior Citizen Ceremony on December 1, 2007
@1300 (itinerary to follow) info so far is as follows - We are honoring
several soldiers who have been mobilized/deployed within the last few years.
It will be in the drill hall of the 94th Combat Support Hospital; 701 W.
Simonds Rd, Seagoville, TX 75159.  No Ride Captain assigned yet - hoping the
Wingman will lead us on this one!

 

 

SATURDAY - Dec 1st Crowley CHRISTmas Parade.  (itinerary to follow)  Ride

We just can't imagine what the "saturation" limit is for the North Texas
Patriot Guard Riders, because the more that is asked of you, the more you
step up and take your place in the Flag Line.  Thank you for your honorable
service, it is a priviledge to stand with you!  Please have a safe and very
Happy Thanksgiving and remember those who are in harm's way for us.
