VERY SHORT NOTICE:

We apologize for the extremely short notice, but if you can join us, please do.

Marine Lance Corporal Darren Driggers, 19, from Hughes Springs (approximately 60 east of Sulphur Springs in East Texas), was killed on 6 OCT while on duty at Camp Pendleton, California. Robert "Horsepen" Young is the East Texas Ride Captain for this mission. For safety reasons, there will NOT, repeat NOT, be an escort from DFW Airport to the east (note: East Texas PGR members will start their escort in Longview tomorrow afternoon - please see that Mission thread on the PGR website). RC Young has, however, requested a flag line for the family at DFW Airport for Lance Corporal Driggers and his family.

STAGING:
Date: Sunday, 14 OCT 2007 (yes, Today)
Time: 1415 to 1440
Location: Shell Gas Station, SE corner of the East Rental Car Drive and North Service Road (which runs parallel to and on the east side of International Parkway, the freeway running through the airport). This is the Shell station near the south entrance to the airport.

>From the South Entrance - Take the North Service Road exit shortly after entering DFW from the south.
>From the North Entrance - Proceed southbound on the South Service Road (to avoid the toll). Continue all the way through the airport. You'll pass the south toll booths on your left, then go under South Airfield Drive overpass. Stay to the right on the South Service Road, go up the ramp to a stop at Rental Car Drive, then turn left (east). The Shell Station will be on your right after you cross over International Parkway.

MISSION:
KSU at 1445. From the Shell Station we will ride 4.3 miles north on the Service Road to the American Airlines Cargo Hanger where we will establish a flagline.

NOTE:
There are several variables in this Mission (and the Mission itself totally changed just prior to the posting of this message) so please remember - SEMPER GUMBY.

WEATHER:
As of 2340 Saturday, the forecast for DFW Airport for Sunday is partly sunny, highs in the mid 80s, south winds 10 to 20 mph. As always, hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Experience tells us we almost always have delays in our Missions at DFW so, again, Semper Gumby.

RIDE CAPTAINS:
M. B. "BluHog" Ingersoll - 817.938.3544
Wendy "HotLips" Ingersoll - 805.587.9453

We gratefully thank those of you who are able to respond on such short notice. Lance Corporal Driggers has served us all honorably, and now we need to Stand Tall and Silent, in honor of him, and in respect for his family's sacrifice.

[NOTE - this message is "send-only," please do NOT reply to this message - direct any questions to the Ride Captains listed above!]
