Welcome Home 
Spc. Dustin Stephens, 82nd  Airborne 
August 16, 2008 


No Ride Captain will be assigned  to this mission.  All PGR members,  that 
are available to welcome Spc. Dustin Stephens home from his first tour of  duty 
in Iraq, are encouraged to do so. 
 
There  are three options that you may consider when trying to arrange your 
schedule to  make some of the missions that have been posted for August 16th. 
Option 1:  Spc. Stephens will be arriving at  DFW International Airport on US 
Airways flight #1219 at 0920  (9:20 AM) on Saturday, August 16, 2008.  Plan 
to meet him in baggage claim, Terminal E, Gates 35-38 for US  Airways.  
Option 2:  Those PGR members that are able to meet  at the home of Spc. 
Stephens may meet and greet the other guest invited to the  “Welcome Home 
Celebration”.  Meet at  the home between 1130—1200 (11:30—12:00 Noon).  The house 
should be easy to spot; the  yard will be decorated with 627 United States flags.

Option 3:  After the Lost Battalion POW Reunion (10:00—12:00 Noon) at the 
Omni Hotel on Saturday  morning, we can ride as a group to Van Alstyne (47.5 
miles/51 minutes).  This option will allow us to honor those  few remaining 
soldiers from the Greatest Generation.  Plus, it will give us an opportunity to  
thank this young soldier for his service and dedication to our country while  
fighting the War on Terrorism.   
 
Come  out and give this American Hero a big Texas Patriot Guard Rider’s 
welcome  home.  
Weather:  Partly cloudy, hot.  High in the mid to upper 90’s.  Stay hydrated. 
Stand tall and silent as we welcome home  this American soldier from the 82nd 
Airborne.
