Colonel Thompson was on active duty at the time of his death and had he
lived until December, 2008, he would have been in the Army for 30 years.
After the funeral service begins we will return the flags to the truck and
some of us will go to the cemetery (see below) to set up a flag line for the
grave side service. The rest will remain behind to participate in the funeral
procession from the church to the cemetery.

We will set up a flag line for the grave side service at the Flower Mound
Cemetery as described above.

Weather: Partly cloudy with a high of 92 degrees. As always, one of the
keys to proper hydration is to start hydrating early, the day prior to the
mission is not too soon to start. It is, in fact, recommended by the experts.
The flag/water truck will be present at the church and at the cemetery.
Iron Horses if you can, cages are always welcome and appreciated.

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall, silent, and with honor
and respect for this career service member and his family.
Respectfully Submitted,
Steve “Badger” Lucas
Dewey “Diehard” Dyer
North Texas Ride Captains
