FINAL ITINERARY

Mission Date; December 22, 2008

Mr. Hayes was a Lance Corporal in the Marine Corps serving in Iraq in 2006
when he began experiencing seizures.  He received a medical discharge at
that time.  He passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 while scouting a
location for duck hunting, most likely from a seizure induced drowning.  He
was not found until the following day.

 

 

Part 1 - Funeral and Interment Service:  Monday, December 22, 2008 - 2:00 PM

 

Staging - 12:45 PM; Briefing - 1:00 PM

 

Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home

North Central Expressway, Exit 38 in Allen - Ridgeview Drive

The funeral home is located on the West side of the highway, immediately
next to the highway.

Please park in the parking area south of the main building.  This will leave
the area directly in front of the building open for parking of the family
and guests.

 

We will set up our flag line and stand tall and silent as the family and
guests arrive for the service.  Once the service has begun, we will move the
line to the graveside, which is on site, but several hundred yards from the
chapel.  Big flag bikes will stay behind to escort the hearse following the
service.

 

 

Weather:  Partly cloudy with a high of 40 degrees.

 

The flag/water truck will be there.

 

Iron horses if you can, cages are always welcome and appreciated.

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall, silent, and with honor
and respect for this veteran and his family.
