Ladies And Gentlemen, Fellow Patriot Guard Riders,

As I pause and ponder the needed inspiration for this email to be able
to reach and touch each one of you in a way that might make a
difference.

I thought and wondered how Uncle Ed would do it.

Just so that you know, this email was inspired with the revered
remembrance of the tender caring heart of our dear friend, Uncle Ed
"Old Iron" Barrett.

No matter what a new PGR day brings, it has always been about "the
mission", "the focus", and to humbly honor, respect (with dignity),
our efforts, to honor our country's heroes.

Let us never forget, to kindly offer respect and consideration, for
the Patriot Guard Rider standing tall and silent next to you. We are
truly about caring, understanding, compassion and tolerance.

We (all of us) are all about pulling together and drawing the strength
from each other. We need to be the special Patriots we have so
successfully become to be in the eyes of the families who so
desperately need our support. Look beyond yourself and realize the
loss, grief and pain of the family we are honoring and supporting.

I am going to ask of you today to renew the patience and tolerance we
are going to need to make the year 2008 the best year ever to support
and honor our heroes.

If you think you are one of those individuals that needs to hear all
the inside gossip details then take a step back and ponder. Instead,
lend your ear and focus toward those who need your assistance or
guidance. Think forward and offer help to your brother or sister
Patriot as we all prepare for our next honor mission.

Lend your energy to fulfill the purpose of honoring the family in
need. If you will follow the lead, trust and believe, I give you my
word of honor all the unworthy distractions will fade.

Please remember, we are all volunteers. ( We All ) are also only
human, we all have imperfections as we stand alone, together we can
draw from the many gifts and talents we all have been blessed with
from our maker.

If anyone has ( ANY ) Patriot Guard issue that needs to be brought out
into the open and discussed, or any positive idea to improve how and
what we do, I will openly and respectfully lend that ear to you.

The Patriot Guard Riders needs your focus, help and support to make
this year the best we have the capability to provide the men and women
currently serving to protect us in uniform, to provide our Veterans
with the dignity they have so rightly earned, and a paramount effort
for the families of our fallen hero's.

Please join us, stand proud with us, with the renewed spirit of pride
and dignity.

Ride Safe And Proud Together In Honor Of Our Hero's

With Respect And Honor,
