This is a two part mission:
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2008, Arlington Baptist
Temple, 3434 South Collins Street, Arlington, TX 76014
Staging: 9:45 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.: place the flags and stand the flag line
until shortly after commencement of the service. At that time we will remove the
flags and reconvene at DFW National Cemetery. Those who wish to ride in
escort of the hearse, may do so by falling in behind the Leathernecks Motorcycle
Club, which will be following the hearse. Understand there will possibly be
other motorcycle clubs involved.
Riders with big flag bikes are welcome and encouraged to make this escort
from the church to DFW National, as well as within DFW National Cemetery. Will
still need at least 8 or 10 riders to go ahead with RC to DFW National to
assist in setting up the flag line, due to short time frame between funerals.

Mountain Creek Parkway is still under construction and you will need to
exercise caution when travelling on this road. Currently, the best avenue of
approach is to take Loop 12 south of I-30, transition to Spur 408 and exit on
Kiest Blvd., turning right (west) on Kiest; or
coming off I-20, go north on Spur 408, exiting on Kiest, turning left
(west); go over the hill, by the college, to the stoplight; turn right on Mountain
Creek Parkway. This will take you to the front of DFW National Cemetery.
Please note that other services may be in progress as we are entering or
leaving the area. So please keep bike pipes/radio/etc., noise to a minimum..
Weather: Mostly sunny; high of 97 degrees and low of 76 degrees.
Iron Horses if you can, cages are always welcome and appreciated. The
Support Truck with flags and water will be there.
Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, with honor and
respect for this veteran and his family.
Respectfully submitted,
Mike "Choo Choo" Brown
NTX Ride Captain
