This is a one part mission. Tuesday, July 15, 2008
Staging: 1215 (12:15 pm) I need six flag bikes at Potter’s House Church
located at Spur 408 and Kiest Blvd (6777 Kiest Blvd). We will escort the family
and coach to DFW National Cemetery. All other riders shall stage at DFW
National Cemetery at 1230 (12:30 pm) on Patriot Ave. below Shelter “A”. There is
a possibility that we will stand a flag line for the service at Shelter “A”
at 1300 (1:00 pm) and then proceed to Shelter “B” for the Shield service at
1330 (1:30 pm).
Weather: HOT, HOT, HOT. Make sure you hydrate before arrival and continue to
hydrate during mission.
It is recommended that riders approach the DFW National Cemetery from Kiest
due to frequent closures of Mountain Creek Pkwy.
The support truck will be there.
Iron horses if you can. Cages are always welcome.
Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent with honor and
respect for this veteran and his family.
Respectfully submitted,
Ron Mitchell
Senior Ride Captain
North Texas
