Deployment Send Off 
Preliminary Mission  Information 
The Patriot  Guard Riders have been asked to help give a big Texas send-off 
for Unit 2-149th  Aviation Regiment of the Texas Army National Guard.  The unit 
will be leaving on deployment  to Iraq on Sunday, June 8, 2008 at 0800  (8:00 
AM). 
We have been  asked to escort the 9 buses and about 20 military vehicles from 
the Armory in  Grand  Prairie.  The  Convoy will be traveling to Ft. Sill,  
Oklahoma.  We anticipate taking the Convoy part of  the way where we will be 
met by the Wichita Falls PGR group.  They will join up with the Southern  
Oklahoma PGR group for the final leg of the mission to Lawton, OK and Ft. Sill.
