take the escort to Bowie, TX where we will be relieved by the PGR unit from
Wichita Falls, TX. They will run the escort to Lawton, OK and Ft. Sill. Armory

Part 3: 0750 (7:50 AM)—Convoy Departs Armory
Army support vehicles will depart the Armory for Ft. Sill. The buses with
the troops will depart at 0800 (8:00 AM). Our plan is to escort the

Weather: Chance of thunderstorms and a high of 89. Bring your own water

Big flag bikes will be utilized to lead the formation. Once the convoy
gets on the highway, those of you with big flags may have to pull out of the
convoy to stow flags. The convoy will not stop.
The planned route is Lakecrest Dr. – Garrett Dr. - North on SE 14th St -
West on Jefferson - North Beltline - West on Interstate 30 - North on 820 -
North on I35W - North on 287 - to Bowie, Texas. In Bowie we are taking HWY 81
North to Duncan Bypass in Duncan, OK, turning West on Hwy 7 towards Lawton, OK,
turning North on Interstate 44 to exit 40B into Ft Sill. This is the route
the military vehicles are going to follow.
