Fellow riders,
 
    The below information concerning the  mission for Spc. Jonathan Emard is 
being provided to help keep you informed and  for planning purposes. As 
stated, the schedule is not finalized and this  information is subject to change. 
Standby for further updates and final  itineraries. As you can see there may be 
a two day gap between the Hero's  arrival and the service so there will be two 
different final itineraries.

Escort  Mission 
Preliminary Mission  Information 
The Patriot  Guard Riders have been asked by family members to participate in 
the honoring of  Spc. Jonathan D. A. Emard, a United States Army Hero killed 
in action during  combat near Hawijah,  Iraq.  
Spc. Emard  was a member assigned to the 1st Battalion, 87th Infantry  
Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team that was engaged in small arms fire  and hand 
grenade battle with the enemy forces when he was mortally wounded and  died. 
At this time  information is not available to develop a definite mission 
schedule. However,  this Preliminary Itinerary identifies the probable locations, 
dates and times  for the mission. 
This  mission is a single part mission: 
Provide  Patriot Guard Riders and large flag bikes to escort Spc. Emard and 
his family  from the arrival location (Anticipated to be  Greenville,  TX 
airport) to the Anderson Clayton Funeral  Home in Terrell,  Texas. 
The  anticipated date of the mission is Tuesday, June 10, 2008.  At this time 
the date and time of  arrival is not firm so it is important to watch for and 
review the final  itinerary when published.  We do not  anticipate having any 
information until Monday PM at the earliest. 
This is an  important mission honoring one our finest who gave his life for 
his country. We  need to show our respect and honor to Spc. Emard and his 
family as we serve in  our unique way as Patriot Guards Riders.

Funeral and Burial  Services 
Preliminary Mission Information 
The Patriot  Guard Riders have been asked by family members to participate in

Mission  Part Two (2) Friday (PM) June 13, 2008, DFW National Memorial 
Cemetery 
Provide  Patriot Guard Riders and flag line to honor Spc. Emard and his 
family during  burial services at DFW  National Memorial  Cemetery in  Grand 
Prairie,  Texas.   
This is an  important mission honoring one of our finest who gave his life 
for his country.  We need to show our respect and honor Spc. Emard and his 
family as we serve in  our unique way as Patriot Guard Riders. 
The Final  Itinerary will be published soon.  Please hold any questions 
regarding this mission until the Final  Itinerary is published.  We do not  
anticipate having any information until Monday PM at the earliest.
