Please be advised that during the foreseeable future there will be road
closures along Mountain Creek Parkway affecting routes to the DFW National
Cemetery. While I know everyone deeply appreciates the fact that this road is
finally getting much needed improvements, it will cause us some inconvenience in
the mean time. Below is the current info we have (it changes almost daily) and
some alternate routes. Give yourself a little extra time and know the
alternate routes.
Mountain Creek Parkway exit from Spur 408 is still closed.
Mountain Creek Parkway at I 20 is closed just north of I 20.
Keist Blvd is open most days, but has had some closures at Mountain Creek
Parkwy.
You can use Keeneland Parkway as an alternate if Keist is closed. Exit Spur
408 at Keenland and proceed westbound to Merrifield. Turn left on Merrifield
and proceed until it dead ends into Mountain Creek Parkway. Turning left
onto Mountain Creek Parkway will take you to DFW National Cemetery which will be
on your left.
You can also cross Mountain Creek Lake on the toll bridge (spur 303) to
Mountain Creek Parkway from Grand Prairie.

Weather: Partly cloudy 92 degrees.
Iron Horses if you can, flag bikes will be utilized, cages are always welcome
and appreciated. The Support Truck with flags and water will be there.
Please remember that our mission is to stand tall, silent, with honor and
respect for this fallen Solider and his family.
Respectfully submitted,
Don “Eagle” Massey
Senior Ride Captain
