My Fellow Riders,

When the PGR is contacted by a family who has lost a loved one and
extends a invitation to us to attend the funeral, we will accept that invitation
whenever possible with only one precondition. That precondition being that we
are doing the mission for someone that has served our country, past or
present. We have not in the past nor will we in the future do inquiries into the
circumstances surrounding the reason for the mission before we decide to accept
the invitation. We are here to honor the service that has been made to this
country. Nothing else matters. The families have asked us to be there in
their time of need and that is what we will do. I ask each and every one of you
to please remember our motto "Stand Tall and Silent". Also remember that
emails and conversations may find their way to those to whom they were not
intended. It would be best to assume that whatever is said or written will be heard
or read by a family member or friend. I am not trying to infringe upon
anyone's freedom of speech, for that freedom is one of our most sacred rights. I am
only asking that you remember that we are here to bring whatever respectful
honor and comfort we can to a family facing a tragedy almost beyond words.

Respectfully,

Bill
