Fellow riders,

At a little after 10 p.m. last night David Hall was securing the Liberty
Bell after a ceremony at his church in Richland Hills when he was struck by
a SUV. He has sustained a concussion, cracked ribs, and cuts and bruises. He
is going to be alright, but will need some time to mend. They are going to
keep him in the hospital for observation and rest until tomorrow or the next
day. I know all have been very worried about him and I apologize for not
getting an email out before now, but I have been trying to get the latest on his
condition and the wishes of the family. Today is not a good day for any
visitors. Please wait until the family says it is a good time before going for a
visit. Of course, flowers and get well cards should be appropriate. He is at
John Peter Smith Hospital, Room 507 (Bed 2), 3301 Stalcup Rd., Ft. Worth, TX
76119. The phone is (817) 429-5156.

As is David's character, he has been more concerned with the condition
of the driver of the other car and the condition of the bell than about his
own health. The bell supporting structure has been damaged as well as the
trailer and David's truck. With the help of some of our riders, his son's have had
the bell, trailer, and truck moved to their business and all are secure.

Please keep David in your prayers and I will provide an update as it is
received.
