HOTH Mission: Grand Opening of Denton VA Clinic

 *Mission:* NTX PGR has been invited to participate in the formal grand
opening of the new Veterans Administration clinic in Denton, Texas. *Ceremonies
to begin at 10:00 hrs., Friday, May 30, 2008* in front of the new clinic.



Keynote speaker will be *U.S. Congressman Michael Burgess*. The *Mayor of
Denton* will also speak, as will *Lieutenant General Ricardo
Sanchez*(retired), immediate past commander of all coalition ground
forces in Iraq.



Others in attendance will include V VA Color Guard, members of MOPH, as well
as Commanders of the various veteran's service organizations throughout
Denton County.



Note: was advised by event coordinator Jim Wheeler, that when he spoke with
the Denton newspaper, and advised them the Patriot Guard Riders would be
present, their interest perked up considerably. This, apparently due to the
positive PR the PGR has been receiving.



*Staging: *0850 hrs. in front of the clinic, located at 2223 Colorado Blvd.,
Denton, TX. Park directly across the street in the mall parking area. A LEO
will be on hand to assist foot traffic crossing Colorado Blvd. to the
ceremony. The flag truck and water will be available. Flags will need to be
in place by 0915 hrs.

Weather:
*Mostly sunny with a high of 93 degrees. Hydrate prior to and during
ceremony.

Directions:
*travelling North from Dallas on I-35E, exit on Loop 288 and turn right
(east), go thru the blinking yellow light to the next light (Colorado
Blvd.); turn left (north). The VA clinic is about ¼ mile and will be on your
right, but turn left and go across Colorado Blvd. into the Golden Triangle
Mall parking area.
