PGR_NTX Patriot Guard Final Itinerary - WWII Honor Flight Return To Waxahachie, 05 Nov 08

We had the honor of escorting the bus carrying WWII Veterans as part of the Honor Flight Program to Dallas Love Field early this morning, as they started their trip to our nation's capital.  Those same veterans will be returning to Dallas Love Field tomorrow night.  The flight is scheduled to arrive at 2255 and we are once again invited to greet them as they arrive home.

STAGING:  We will stage and gather at Dallas Love Field at 2230 (10:30pm).  The plan is to line up at the far end of the terminal (arrivals area), but we will remain flexible.  We will greet the veterans as they arrive at the airport and load up on the bus, then head down the road ahead of the bus so that we can be at the Waxahachie Civic Center to meet them when they arrive home.  For those in the Waxahachie area who plan on riding up, the Ride Captains will be leaving from the Waxahachie Civic Center parking lot at 2130 (9:30pm).

For those who are unable to ride all the way to Waxahachie, please feel free to ride along with the bus as far as you wish as the bus makes its way south.

WEATHER:  Partly cloudy in the evening...then mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Lows in the lower 60s. South winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts to around 30 mph.  Please dress accordingly.  The flag truck will not be there, please feel free to bring your own flags.

We "Rode Loud And With Honor" as we escorted these WWII heroes to Dallas - let's do the same as they arrive home!
