This mission is for a flag line at the cemetery only. At this time the
shelter assignment is not known but it should be posted on the schedule
board located outside at the visitor center. We will stage below the
shelter area as usual on Patriot Avenue and put the flags in place as soon
as possible following the service immediately prior to the one for SGM
Miserany.
Weather: Forecast for Monday is a high of 67 degrees with possible light
showers. Please use your own discretion on iron horses or cages,
particularly since there is no escort as a part of this mission. Safety is
paramount. We will stand the flag line as long as there is a service.
Due to the brevity of this mission and the fact that we have flags stored at
the cemetery, a flag/water truck will not be requested. Please bring your
own water or other beverage as required.
Please remember that our mission is to stand tall, silent, and with honor
and respect for this American Hero and his family.
Respectfully Submitted,
Dewey "Diehard" Dyer
North Texas Ride Captain
