PGR_NTX Patriot Guard Confirmed Mission - KIA - Sergeant First Class Miguel A. Wilson, Bonham, TX

[Mission Information For North Texas PGR]

Ladies and Gentlemen,

 

The family of Sergeant First Class Miguel A. Wilson of Bonham, TX has asked
the PGR to participate in the services for this hero.  He died during a
reconnaissance mission in Iraq while saving the life of a fellow soldier who
was drowning.  Sgt. Wilson was successful in saving the life of the other
soldier but the combination of the weight of his pack and other equipment,
and the current prevented him from being able to save himself.  

 

The primary services and burial for Sgt. Wilson will be held in Killeen, TX
at Fort Hood on Saturday.  The Central Texas PGR will be attending to those
services.  A memorial service will be held in his home town of Bonham on
Tuesday, December 2, 2008.  These services are in our North Texas area of
operations and arrangements are being handled by our good friends and
colleagues from the Sherman area.  A final itinerary will be posted for this
mission very shortly.
