Ladies and Gentlemen,
Somehow I knew it wouldn't take long. You folks are terrific!! We've
already had a volunteer step up to be our point man for the parade and he's
been given the contact information for the Soldier's Angels people. His
name is Jake Jakubowski. I know we'll be hearing back from them soon.
Stay tuned for the parade staging details and let's go and have a good time,
show the people who the PGR is and enjoy the day.
On this day of Thanksgiving, one of the many things I have to be thankful
for is you, the men, women and children of the PGR. Each of you are very
special individuals. Your actions come from a devotion and dedication that
is generated from deep within. You are steadfast, caring and strong and at
the same time good natured, friendly and willing to donate your time and
personal resources, not only to the mission but to your PGR compatriots when
necessary. As individuals you are wonderful. As a group you are
impressive, formidable and provide a feeling of great pride and patriotism,
not to mention great comfort to the families we serve. I am thankful this
and every day that you are who you are and that you have banded together for
such a great cause.
Thank you.
Steve Lucas
Deputy State Captain
North Texas PGR
