Following the funeral service for Mr. Mills we will be participating in the
procession from the funeral home to DFW National Cemetery for the interment
service. The funeral service will have started when we arrive at the funeral
home so PLEASE try to keep bike sound minimal as we pull into the front
parking lot. We are expected to leave for the cemetery at approximately
12:30 PM.

Big flag bikes are certainly valued during this part of the mission but all
who wish to attend are welcome to do so.

No flag/water truck will be present at the funeral home. Each rider is
responsible for his/her own water/Gatorade. The water truck will be present
at the cemetery.

Part 2 - Interment Service - DFW National Cemetery - Tuesday, October 14,
2008 - 1:30 PM

Staging - 1:15 PM

Flag line in place ASAP.

At the time of this posting we do not know which shelter will be assigned to
this ceremony. We will use flags already in storage at shelter. The water
truck will be present at the cemetery but please hydrate early and
adequately prepare yourselves for the warm conditions.

Please note that other services may be in progress as we are entering or
leaving the area so please keep bike pipe/radio/etc., noise to a minimum.
Thanks.

Weather: Partly cloudy with a chance of isolated thunderstorms with a high
of 81 degrees. There will be a flag/water truck at the cemetery only.
Please hydrate early and make sure you have plenty of water/Gatorade on hand
if you are in the escort. As always, one of the keys to proper hydration is
to start hydrating early, the day prior to the mission is not too soon to
start. It is, in fact, recommended by the experts.

Iron Horses if you can, cages are always welcome and appreciated.

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall, silent, and with honor
and respect for this Veteran and his family.

Respectfully Submitted,

Dewey "Diehard" Dyer

North Texas Ride Captain
