FINAL ITINERARY

HOTH Welcome to Texas escort for SSG Jay Wilkerson

United States Army

 

October 16, 2008

Escort Only - Thursday, October 16, 2008 - 12:30 PM

 

Staging 12:30 PM    

 

Shell Station

Inside DFW Airport 

 

Take the rental car exit from the airport service road (near the south end
of the airport).  The Shell station is the only fuel station on the airport
property.  PGR bikes are to park by twos, side by side, behind the station
after fueling bike, self, etc.

DalWorthington Gardens DPS will provide vehicles of at least one Tahoe and 4
motorcycles for the escort.  They are to assemble at Shell at 12:30 pm.

 

SSG Wilkerson and Maria Edwards are due to arrive at Terminal E at 1:23 pm.
One PGR RC and DPS escort ONLY will enter airport and proceed to terminal E
so as to be on station when SSG Wilkerson arrives.  After arrival, SSG
Wilkerson and Ms. Edwards are to be escorted to AVIS Rental Car.  SSG
Wilkerson is to ride in DPS escort vehicle at this time.

 

Upon arrival at rental car facility, the Tahoe and single PGR escort will
assemble with the others, who will have left the Shell station, gone EAST
(right) down to the rental car u- turn and park two deep on the far right
side of the roadway facing west.

 

Flag bikes will be in the front of the procession. DPS has requested that
only bikes be in this procession.  No cages!

 

PGR will collect SSG Wilkerson's car as it leaves rental car facility.

 

DPS escort Tahoe will lead as will the DPS motorcycles. Depending upon total
PGR bikes, SSG Wilkerson will be in the middle of the pack with bike fore
and aft of his.

 

DPS has escort duty to destination in Mansfield via HWY 360 South.

 

NO ROAD GUARD anticipated or asked for by DPS.

 

Weather:  Partly cloudy with high in lower 80s.  No chance of rain at this
time. 

 

THERE WILL BE NO WATER TRUCK OR FLAG TRUCK AT ANY TIME.
