FINAL ITINERARY

 

Veterans Day Mission at Forestwood Middle School

Flower Mound, TX

Tuesday, November 11, 2008 - 8:00 AM

 

Staging 8:00 AM    

 

Forestwood Middle School

2810 Morriss Road

Flower Mound, TX  75028 

 

 

We are looking at a 0800 stage at the school to put out the flags.  Then we
will have a second staging at Starbucks at the Southwest corner of Morriss
and Flower Mound Roads at 0845 so we can parade down the street and into the
school as a group with flags and pride flying.  We will park in front of the
school so all the kids can see the riders and bikes.  Big flag bikes are
always a plus for such an event and, as usual, all are welcome.

 

Our own Steven Kohs will be a speaker during the ceremony.  There will also
be Gold Star families in attendance.

 

Weather:  No forecast is available at the time of this posting but always be
prepared for anything.  That's one of the great things about living in
Texas!

 

The flag/water truck will be present. 

 

Let's help teach the true meaning of Veterans Day to this generation of
young people so that it may be properly carried on in the future.
