Hoth  Mission to Honor the Family of 2nd Lt. Peter H.  Burks 
Thursday, September 11, 2008 at 1030

Mission: 
The  Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the placement 
of a  statue to honor the service of 2nd Lt. Peter H. Burks at the cemetery  at 
Melissa Texas.  The Patriot Guard Riders will provide a flag line at the 
dedication ceremony for  the Burks family. 
Staging: 
We  will stage at the cemetery in Melissa Texas from 0930 until 1000. Mission 
brief  at 1000 with the flag line to be in place by 1015.  The  Melissa 
Cemetery is located at US 75 and Melissa Road (exit 46) in Melissa  Texas. The 
cemetery is located 1 block east of 75 on the North side Melissa  Road. Melissa 
road is a divided 4 lane road the cemetery is located at the first  place you 
can cross the median on the left.

Weather: 
Partly  cloudy with lows in the 70’s and highs in the mid 90’s and a chance 
of  rain. 
Please  join us as we honor the Burks family. All groups are welcome to stand 
with us as  we honor this Hero and family.  
The  support truck will be there with flags and water.
