Mountain Creek Parkway is now open from I-20 to the cemetery but that the
road is rough and construction is ongoing. The best route is Spur 408 to
Keist (westbound) to Mountain Creek (northbound) to the cemetery.
Also please note that other services may be in progress as we are entering
or leaving the area so please keep bike pipe/radio/etc., noise to a
minimum. Thanks.
*Weather**:*
Sunny with a high of 84 degrees. Please hydrate early and make sure you
have plenty of water/Gatorade on hand if you are in the escort. As always,
one of the keys to proper hydration is to start hydrating early, the day
prior to the mission is not too soon to start. It is, in fact, recommended
by the experts.
Iron Horses if you can, cages are always welcome and appreciated.
*Flag/water truck will be present.*
Please remember that our mission is to stand tall, silent, and with honor
and respect for CW2 Edwards and his family.
Respectfully Submitted,
Bill Sides
North Texas Ride Captain
