PGR_NTX Patriot Guard Confirmed Mission - Wednesday, April 8, 2009, American Airlines

[Mission Information For North Texas PGR]

Ladies and Gentlemen,

 

I'm sure many of you know our very good friend and fellow PGR member Alan
Burks.  We were honored by Alan and his family inviting us to honor his son,
Second Lt. Peter Burks, after he was killed in action in Iraq over a year
ago.  Alan has taken on a personal mission of sending care packages to
soldiers and Iraqi children and American Airlines has donated a jumbo jet to
take a plane load over this Wednesday.  Alan has asked us to come over to
the airport and help send the plane off on this great mission.  I have
pasted below a copy of the story that ran on Channel 8 so you can read up on
it.  We will be going on the secure side of the airport so leave your
firearms somewhere else! 

 

An itinerary for this will be coming out soon and it will include a request
for your name as it appears on your driver's license so that you may be
checked through security, so be prepared for that.
