PGR_NTX Patriot Guard Airplane Send Off Mission Update
Mission Information For North Texas PGR
mission at txpgr.org
Wed Apr 8 02:11:14 CDT 2009
Ladies and Gentlemen,
This afternoon I received the following message from the representative from
American Airlines updating the information regarding the mission there. I
thought you might like to hear the latest straight from them. This does not
affect most of the previously announced mission plan. We will be allowed to
take the flags in and through security. TSA has been notified about the
flags and poles. We will be met and escorted to the security area in case
there are any questions by TSA. If anyone sent me your name knowing it was
late, it was not turned in.
We may carry 10' long metal spears, but leave the hand lotion at home. J
Sorry - I thought it was funny!!
I have passed all the names below to Kent Powell, the GM at DFW. When you
arrive at Terminal C, go to the ticket counter (near Gate C-5) and let the
ticket agent know you are here to attend AA's Operation Iraqi Children
event. You MUST then show your driver's license or passport. They will be
issue you a boarding card. Then you'll need to proceed to the TSA security
checkpoint near C-7 to clear security (normal security standards apply so no
liquids, etc.). The event is being held at Gate C2.
Steve Lucas
Deputy State Captain
North Texas PGR
