Ladies and Gentlemen,

Many of you know Ron "Roadrash" Mitchell, our long time Senior Ride Captain
and very good friend. Ron was in charge of a mission on Monday for a fellow
Veteran when his mom passed away. I know you all join me in expressing
condolences and sympathies to Ron and the rest of his family during their
time of personal sadness and sorrow.

While Ron's mom was not a member of the military or other category that
allows us to do a formal mission on her behalf, Ron has been a long time
leader in the PGR locally and a good friend to all of the riders and we have
done missions for his dad and his brother at the times of their passing. I
know that many would like to attend the services for Mrs. Mitchell and pay
their respects and to help honor her as well. In addition, she will be
buried at DFW National Cemetery alongside her husband. It is my opinion
that if motorcycles and some flags were to happen to stop by at the funeral
and at the interment ceremony, and that if some friends of the family
joining in the procession just happened to be riding motorcycles - nobody
would say anything. These things just happen, you know?
