PGR_NTX Patriot Guard Note from Larry Maddux

Ladies and Gentlemen,

 

Pardon me once again but Bobby Short received a message today from Larry
Maddux, Gary's brother and one of our own PGR members, and forwarded it to
me.  I thought I would share it with you.

Bobby, I really don't know how to say thanks to you and the rest of the
guard for such a wonderful gathering for Gary.

 

It is just to mind-boggling to think of all that happened that day. I would
have to say it was one of the best days of my life, under the circumstances.

Everything went perfect, and I have never met so many wonder people. I would
like to thank each and every one of them, but I guess that will be
impossible.

 

Could you please pass my thanks on to the proper people.

 

Missing Gary is like someone had reached into my chest and tore out half my
heart and it sank to the bottom, but thanks to God and the Patriot Guard
Riders have lifted it back into place. Someday, in the near future, when my
life isn't so hectic, I will be able to ride as he did.

 

I can't thank you enough.
