PGR_NTX Patriot Guard Confirmed Mission - Active Duty Death - Colonel John William Allen, United States Army

[Mission Information For North Texas PGR]

Ladies and Gentlemen,

 

The family of Army Colonel John William Allen has asked the North Texas
Patriot Guard Riders to participate in his final services.  Colonel Allen
passed away on active duty while in Rhode Island and attending the Army War
College.  Colonel Allen has already arrived at Donnelly's Funeral Home in
Irving.  All we know currently about pending services is that there will be
a visitation on Sunday and that interment is currently scheduled for 3:00 PM
on Monday at DFW National Cemetery.  The family has not yet met with the
funeral home personnel to finalize plans.  Please be prepared for all
possibilities for Sunday and Monday.  A final itinerary will be published as
soon as we are informed of the family's wishes.

 

Let's stand tall and silent for this leader who was taken while serving his
country.
