Ladies and Gentlemen,

The family of MSGT Robert Mobley of the United States Air Force has asked
that the Patriot Guard Riders participate in his final services. I am not
aware of the circumstances of his death at this time but he was on active
duty and he passed away on Sunday. He was 38 years old. His funeral is
scheduled for 10:30 AM on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at First Christian Church
in Denton followed by an interment service at DFW National Cemetery at 3:00
PM. As details are developed a final itinerary will be prepared and
published. I spoke with his widow by telephone only a short while ago and
she told me he was in love with motorcycles and it was his fervent wish to
have the Patriot Guard at his funeral. It seemed very clear to me that she
had made a special effort to remember those two words, Patriot Guard, as she
repeated his request to me more than once.

Let's stand tall and silent for this young man and to his widow, who was
very relieved when I told her that she had indeed reached the Patriot Guard
and that she need no longer worry about that request being fulfilled.

Thanks to each of you for being who you are and for caring so much for these
service members and their families.

Steve Lucas

Deputy State Captain

North Texas PGR
