[Mission Information For North Texas PGR]

Ladies and Gentlemen,

 

We have received a request from the mom of a Navy veteran, Rebecca Davis.
Ms. Davis is a Gulf War veteran who was injured in training and has an
injury to her leg and an injury to her heart.  She and her mother are moving
to Lewisville, into a house owned by her mother (but lived in by tenants
until just recently) so that Rebecca can receive treatment and surgery at
the Dallas VA.

 

They have just arrived in Lewisville and the house is in a mess from the
tenants and they need help unloading their 16 foot Penske rental truck into
the house.  Ms. Davis is completely unable to assist in moving the items
into the house and her mom is not able to do this by herself, as you might
be able to imagine.  They need the cavalry to come to their aid, so to
speak, and the PGR is that cavalry.

 

If anyone can help them with this task tomorrow - Saturday, April 25, 2009 -
for an hour or two at their home, they would be most grateful.  They have a
dolly and the truck has a ramp and it's a matter of getting the contents of
the truck inside the house.  This disabled veteran and her mom need our
help.  A target time for this is about 1:00 PM but anyone who can assist
either a little sooner or a little later will certainly not be turned away.
There are a few heavy items that will take a couple of strong men to move
into the house so let's be sure to include enough help to get that done
also.

 

The address is 220 Meadow Knoll Road in Lewisville.  I have included a map
link below.  Ms. Davis said there is no number on the house itself but there
are large trees across the front and there is a white Penske truck in the
driveway that you can't miss.  The mom is Elizabeth Davis and the daughter
is Rebecca Davis.  Their phone numbers are 909-784-6923 and 202-669-2829.

 

There is no ride captain assigned.  I will not be able to attend.  I know
there is room in everyone's hearts to help these folks out for a little
while on Sat.  The google maps link is - http://tinyurl.com/cxn835.  I
described the house that the link showed to Ms. Davis and she confirmed that
the pointer sits right in front of the correct house.

 

Thank you all for your kind attention and let's help them get their things
