Dewey "Diehard" Dyer, (214) 316-8730(c); dgd4758 at sbcglobal.net
The North Texas Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to escort Specialist
Bret Wolf and his family to the site of the home that is being built for
them by volunteers from Homes for our Troops on the first day of the build.
It is our honor to escort this warrior to the site of the new home for him
and his wife.
Specialist Brett Wolf was serving in Iraq with the 25th Infantry when he was
severely injured on September 11, 2007. Brett was injured while driving the
lead vehicle, a minesweeper, in South Kirkuk, Iraq. The sweeper struck a
large bomb, flipped over and injured several of the personnel on board. The
blast caused severe injuries to Brett, with both legs amputated above the
knee, serious injuries to his right arm, abdomen and face as well as other
minor injuries.

We will stage at the church, which is approximately 2 miles from the build
site. An advance party will dispatch from there to the build site to set up
flags. Construction WILL be going on at the site at the time so caution
will need to be taken at the build site. The escort will be staged and
proceed to the site where a few brief speeches will be made and then
construction will continue.
Final destination:
3388 Adell Circle
Weatherford, TX 76088

Weather: Mostly clear with a high of 100 degrees.
With warmer weather being here, please remember to properly hydrate
(including the night before) before any outdoor activity and to dress
appropriately. Do not hesitate to take a break at any time if you feel you
need to get in the shade or get indoors and always ask for help at any time.
Also, please don't forget your sun screen.
The flag and water truck will be present.
Iron horses if you can, cages are always welcome and appreciated.
This is a chance to celebrate a happy occasion for a deserving returning
warrior and I know he and his wife would appreciate a great turnout.
Respectfully Submitted,
Dewey "Diehard" Dyer
North Texas Senior Ride Captain
