AIRPORT ARRIVAL AND ESCORT-THURSDAY, AUGUST 13TH-PARIS, TEXAS
The Family of Sergeant Jay M. Hoskins, USMC, has requested the Patriot Guard
Riders accompany him on his last ride home. He will be arriving at Cox
Field Airport, 6780 Collier, Paris, Texas (903-784-4648) at 12 noon on
Thursday, August 13th, 2009.
Staging Site and Time: 10:30 am at the hangar area north of the terminal
building, with the the riders' meeting commencing at 11:15. We will move to
the airfield at 11:40 to await Sgt. Hoskins' arrival. Afterward, we will
accompany the funeral coach through town to the Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home in
Paris. We will have water available, but you can bring more to insure
everyone remains hydrated in the heat and humidity. There is a chance of
rain Saturday, so come prepared for anything.

ALL GROUPS, CLUBS, INDEPENDENTS, ETC. ARE WELCOME. The only prerequisite is
RESPECT. Also remember, you do not have to ride a motorcycle to join in.
The flag line is open to all who wish to participate.
All new members are requested to sign a PGR Release of Liability prior to
the riders meeting. Instructions and safety requirements be will given by
the Ride Captain. All flag bikes, please check and double check flags/poles
for safety at highway speeds. As always, please remain flexible as to the
requirements of the mission (SEMPER GUMBY).
Sgt. Hoskins' services are scheduled for 10 am, Saturday, August 15th at
North Lamar High School in Paris. A final itinerary will be posted later.
Let's all stand tall as we bring this fallen Marine home. Please ride/drive
safely and defensively. And thanks again for your participation.
