PGR_NTX Patriot Guard Snowball Express Update

Mission Information For North Texas PGR mission at txpgr.org
Mon Dec 7 01:34:09 CST 2009

Ladies and Gentlemen,

A couple of bits of information -

1. Exact staging locations for each of the hotels are located on the
North Texas PGR web site at www.txpgr.org. Click on the button for Snowball
Express and then on the link for Snowball Express Hotels with Google Maps.
If you are signed up to go to a hotel, this is where you go. Please allow
time for traffic!

2. For airport escort riders - what follows are directions on how to
get to the staging location INSIDE the airport. This is for those who will
be riding on December 9 on the multiple runs from DFW airport to the hotels.
Please disregard any previous directions you may have received from any
other sources. Below is the latest. Also - please make sure your license
plate number was/is put on your sign up sheet. If it wasn't, you weren't
entered into the DFW airport system and YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY to exit the
airport. If you left that area on the sign up sheet blank, or put ANYTHING
other than a license plate number - you are not in their system. The first
group of numbers has already been submitted. If your license plate wasn't
in the designated location on the form.you may have a problem.

Entrances from either end of the airport begin with you going through the
toll booth and getting a ticket. Everybody goes through the toll booth.
All riders report to this parking/staging area. No one is to go directly to
the terminal.

>From the North Airport Entrance:

1. Travel South until almost at the southern exit to the airport.
Stay in the left lane.

2. Exit to the left at the sign which reads AUTHORIZED VEHICLES ONLY.

3. Follow ramp, which curves to the left. Stay in the left lane.

4. Proceed through the opening in the yellow poles. When able, move to
the right lane and follow the road around.

5. The lot entrance will be on your left, approximately 200 yards from
the yellow poles.

6. Signs will be placed to direct you to the lot. The signs will be
white with black lettering that say "SBE". They will have an arrow on them
to help guide the way. They are the type of sign that goes in the yard when
a house is for sale.

7. The large brown building at the back of the lot has rest room
facilities.

8. To exit the lot for the terminal, find the exit and turn left.

9. Follow the signs to Terminal C, Gates 2,4,6.

>From the South Airport Entrance:

1. After exiting the toll booth get in the left lane.

2. Take the first left exit.

3. Follow the ramp as it curves to the left.

4. Stay in the left lane and proceed through the yellow poles.

5. Merge to the right and follow the street around. The lot entrance
will be on your left, approximately 200 yards from the yellow poles.

Deputy State Captain Mike Lambert's white truck should be there early and we
can use that as a rally point. The busses will be staging in this location
also and we will go to the terminal with them when called up. When an
escort to a hotel has been completed, riders will return to this lot and
wait for their next run.

Thank You.

Steve Lucas

Chief Ride Captain
