Ladies and Gentlemen,

I have some sad news to give you today. Many of you know Harold and Terri
Tranter. They are two of our PGR members here in North Texas. Harold is
our web master. Terri is his daughter and both can be seen at every mission
it is humanly possible for them to attend. Both are veterans. Just this
past Saturday, Cris Tranter passed away. Cris is Harold's son, Terri's
brother. Cris was divorced and was raising his two children. He had been
injured about six years ago in a motorcycle accident when struck by a drunk
driver and had been unable to work since then.

I know you share my great sorrow for this loss. Cris didn't serve in the
military and I ask that you please say a prayer for Cris, his two children,
Harold, Terri and the rest of the family. After what we've all seen so many
times we can imagine how tragic it must be for a parent to have to see a
child pass away and only those among us who have experienced it can know
that pain.

Two of our family members are hurting and I know you are reaching out to
them with your hearts to hold them close, and I'm also sure that on some
level they feel that.

Thank you.

Steve Lucas

Deputy State Captain

North Texas PGR
