PGR_NTX Patriot Guard Confirmed Mission - KIA, Sergeant First Class Peter John Courcy

[Mission Information For North Texas PGR]

Ladies and Gentlemen,

 

The family of Sergeant First Class Peter John Courcy has requested the
Patriot Guard participate in the final services for this United States Army
patriot who was recently Killed in Action in Afghanistan.  Sergeant Courcy
is still overseas awaiting transport back to the United States.  It is
anticipated that his services will not take place until mid to late next
week.  Arrival is tentatively scheduled for Addison Airport with funeral
services in Lewisville and interment at DFW National Cemetery.  Sergeant
Courcy was 22 years old and leaves behind a wife and 5 month old son.  His
parents are also local and he is also survived by his grandparents.  Details
for the services, etc., are being developed and a final itinerary will be
posted as soon as plans are known.

 

Let's all stand tall and silent for this hero who gave his life in our
defense.
