Mission Date; February 23, 2009

Mr. Jones lived to be 86 years of age and was a medic in World War II.

 

 

Part 1:  Funeral Service:  Monday, February 23, 2009 - 11:30 AM; Mount
Olivet Funeral Home

 

Staging - 10:30 AM; Briefing - 10:45 AM

Part one of the mission will consist of setting and standing a flag line as
family and guests arrive for the funeral service at Mount Olivet.  We will
stand the flag line until the service starts, at which time we will break
down the flag line and move to part two.

 

 

Part 2:  Interment Service:  Monday, February 23, 2009 - Immediately
Following Funeral Service; Mount Olivet Cemetery

 

Part two of the mission will consist of moving the flag line to the grave
site and setting up there for the interment of Mr. Jones following the
funeral service.  Big flag bikes will remain at the funeral home to escort
the procession to the grave site, joining the flag line on arrival.  The
mission will be dismissed from this location by the Ride Captain following
the service.

 

 

Weather:  Forecast is for mostly clear skies with a high of 67 degrees.

  

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall, silent, and with honor
and respect for this American patriot of the Greatest Generation and his
family.  

 

Iron Horses if you can; cages are always welcome and appreciated.  The
support truck with flags and water will be present.
