Darren Daniel Dummer, Veteran

Mission Date; January 8, 2009

Mr. Martin was a veteran of the United States Navy and passed away at 31
years of age due to complications from muscular dystrophy.

 

 

Interment Service:  Friday, January 8, 2009- 2:30 PM; DFW National Cemetery

 

Staging - 1:45 PM; Briefing 2:00 PM

The funeral for Mr. Dummer will have been held in Wills Point, TX and we
will be participating in the interment only.  The shelter assignment is not
yet known.  Please check the shelter assignment board outside of the visitor
center on arrival at the cemetery for the proper shelter assignment.  Big
flag bikes please remain at the visitor center to escort the procession to
the shelter at the proper time.  All others please come to the roadway below
the shelter and stage there for briefing and preparation to set up flags for
the ceremony.  We will use the flags stored at the shelter for the service.

 

 

Weather:  Forecast is for mostly clear with a high of 71 degrees.

  

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall, silent, and with honor
and respect for this American patriot and his family.

 

Iron Horses if you can; cages are always welcome and appreciated.  Due to
the short time period of this mission the flag truck will not be requested.
Please make arrangements for your own water/sports drink(s) as required.
