Mr. Malone was a veteran of the United States Navy in World War II, serving
on board the USS Pennsylvania.  He was a motorcycle rider and died at age
85.  

Interment Service:  Friday, January 23, 2009 - 2:00 PM; DFW National
Cemetery

This mission will consist of only an interment service for Mr. Malone.  Big
flag bikes please assemble at the visitor center to escort the attendees to
the shelter.  Everyone else please come to the parking area below shelter B
for staging and briefing.  We will use flags stored at the shelter and set
up as soon as possible following the service prior to Mr. Malone's.

Weather:  Forecast is for partly cloudy with a high of 76 degrees.

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall, silent, and with honor
and respect for this American patriot and his family.  Veterans of World War
II are passing at a very high rate.

Iron Horses if you can; cages are always welcome and appreciated.  Due to
the limited duration of the mission and the fact that we already have flags
at the cemetery the support truck will not be requested.  Please make
arrangements to have your own water and/or sports drink(s) available.  It
could get quite warm in the flag line so please be prepared.
