Ladies and Gentlemen,



This is forwarded to us from Mike Johnson in Wichita Falls.  It is a flyer
announcing a meeting and dinner honoring Wounded Warriors and/or Purple
Heart recipients.  This is an FYI for any eligible persons who may be
interested in attending.  The form is printed below and is attached to this
message for your convenience.

Invitation and Reservation Form



The Wichita Falls Chapter of The Military Officers Association of America
(MOAA) will host a special August meeting honoring  Wounded Warriors and/or
Purple Heart recipients.  You are cordially invited.



●  When and Where:   Friday, August 21, 2009 at the Burkburnett Community
Center

735 Davey Drive, Burkburnett, Texas, across from the Burkburnett High
School.



● Social:  6:00 p.m.



● Dinner:  7:00 p.m.     BBQ meal, cooked and served courtesy of the
Roustabouts, a volunteer cooking group from Burkburnett. BYOB (Beer and wine
only).



● Program:  While serving in Iraq, Sgt Alan Babin, a US Army soldier and
medic received multiple body wounds caused by small arms fire, while
attempting to rescue a wounded soldier from the battlefield.  This is a
story of that event and his, to date, miraculous recovery and

● In conjunction with our program, our Chapter will also host the regional
MOAA Texas Council of Chapters (TCC) Quarterly meeting on Friday and
Saturday.  On Saturday, a business meeting will be held for TCC member
chapters and their designated representatives only.



● Dress is business casual; please NO jeans, tank tops, halter tops,
t-shirts or shorts.
