PGR_NTX Patriot Guard Ride Captain Announcement

[Mission Information For North Texas PGR]

Ladies and Gentlemen,

 

It gives me a great deal of pleasure to formalize what many would consider
the obvious.  Within our North Texas PGR leadership team we have some
individuals who have been obvious and natural leaders in their areas and
people to whom the riders have gone to for leadership and guidance for quite
a while.  These individuals have been going the extra mile for a long time
in being the primary contacts to the public and the military for setting up
missions, doing much of the legwork behind the scenes, etc.

 

When Bill Holcomb held the position of Deputy State Captain in North Texas
he developed the position of Senior Ride Captain in order to reward those
Ride Captains who had been going the extra mile, in his opinion, to further
the mission of the PGR and giving their all, no matter what needed doing, to
get the job done.

 

In an attempt to fill the leadership shoes left by Bill, no easy task I
assure you, I am very happy to officially designate the following Ride
Captains as Senior Ride Captains in the North Texas PGR:

 

Mike Johnson in Wichita Falls

Dewey Dyer in Midlothian

Gene Faulk in Gainesville

Sparky Cox in Sherman

Ted Beauchamp in Breckenridge

 

I know you all will join me in congratulating these individuals.  They don't
get a different color hat or a pay raise, just heartfelt thanks for their
continued great work both in front of and behind the scenes for all of us.
(They still have to buy their hats just like the rest of us!!)
