FINAL ITINERARY

Brigadier General Ezell Ware, Jr.; (CA) Retired

United States Marine Corps, United States Army, United States Army National
Guard

Mission Date; July 9, 2009

Ride Captain:

Dewey "Diehard" Dyer; (214) 316-8730 (c); dgd4758 at sbcglobal.net

General Ware served first in the U. S. Marines (where he was the top recruit
in his training class) and, after working as a policeman, served again in
the military as an Army pilot, flying helicopters in Vietnam. He chose to
pursue a lifelong Army career and even returned to the Far East when his
first tour of duty ended. It was on his last mission, coming back from a
troop deployment in Vietnam, that his helicopter got shot down, leaving him
and his badly wounded commanding officer stranded in enemy territory.

The General's widow said that he specifically stated that he didn't want "a
big fuss" when he passed and that he just wanted to go quietly.

This mission will be an interment only mission for General Ware. The
shelter assignment is not known at this time. Please check at the visitor
center upon arrival for the proper shelter assignment and park in the area
below that shelter for briefing and additional instructions.

Following the briefing, big flag bikes will leave to meet the funeral party
and others will remain at the staging area below the shelter and prepare to
ready the shelter site for General Ware's service at the earliest
opportunity following the service prior to his. We will use the flags in
storage at the shelter for this part of the mission.

Please be aware of the possibility of blocked entrances to the cemetery. An
entrance that we believe will always be open is the one near the
administration building on Mountain Creek Parkway about half way up the
hill, approaching Spur 408 and Loop 12. The map in this document shows that
entrance and not the main entrance we are used to - just in case.

Weather: Forecast is for mostly clear and 101 degrees.

With warmer weather already here, please remember to properly hydrate
(including the night before) before any outdoor activity and to dress
appropriately. Do not hesitate to take a break at any time if you feel you
need to get in the shade or get indoors and always ask for help at any time.
Also, please don't forget your sun screen.

The water truck will be present at the cemetery.

Iron Horses if you can; cages are always welcome and appreciated. Due to no
procession being required for this mission, and the forecast for high heat,
a cage might be advisable with the possible exception of big flag bikes,
which are preferable to escort the family and Mr. Jones to the shelter.

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall, silent, and with honor
and respect for this American patriot.

Respectfully Submitted,

Dewey "Diehard" Dyer

North Texas Senior Ride Captain
