Mr. Malvern Miller served in Vietnam in the United States Army. Our mission
on Friday is to stand with Respect and Honor for this "American Hero" and
his family as this Veteran had stood for us. Mr. Miller's Nephew (Navy
Seal) will be presenting the American Flag to Ms. Miller. God Bless the
Miller family.
Interment Service: Friday, July 24, 2009 - 12:00 PM
Staging - 11:15 AM; Briefing - 11:30 AM
DFW National Cemetery
2000 Mountain Creek Parkway
Dallas, TX 75211

On arrival at the cemetery, please proceed to the shelter staging area. We
will park the bikes two abreast on the main road between the shelters,
facing up the hill toward shelter A. A short briefing will be provided, and
at 11:45. Big flags bikes will relocate to the service center to escort the
family. Remaining riders will proceed to the shelter to assist with
preparations for the service. Shelter location will be provided at the
briefing.
We will use the flags in storage at the shelter.
Please be aware of the possibility of blocked entrances to the cemetery.
An entrance that we believe will always be open is the one near the
administration building on Mountain Creek Parkway about half way up the
hill, approaching Spur 408 and
Loop 12. The map in this document shows that entrance and not the main
entrance we are used to - just in case.
Weather: Sunny 99F with 40% humidity.
Safety First: Begin hydrating lightly a day before. Two hours before
departure to the mission drink from 12 to 24 oz. of water. Continue to
drink small amounts of water at more frequent intervals as the day goes.
"Your Safety Is Our Number One Priority".
The water truck will be at DFW for this mission.
Iron horses if you can, cages are always welcome and appreciated.
Please remember that our mission is to stand tall, silent, and with honor
and respect for this veteran and his family.
Respectfully Submitted,
Steve "Ghost" Hirtzel
