The procession will be arriving from Marshall, TX, They will be escorted
part of the way by the East Texas Patriot Guard Riders. The Interment
Service is scheduled to begin at 12:30 PM. Flags on hand at the cemetery
will be used for the service at that location. The water truck WILL be
present at the cemetery. On arrival all bikes will proceed to the parking
area below the shelters and be ready to prepare the shelter area with flags
as soon as possible following the service before Mr. Galloway's.
Please be aware of the possibility of blocked entrances to the cemetery.
An entrance that we believe will always be open is the one near the
administration building on Mountain Creek Parkway about half way up the
hill, approaching Spur 408 and
Loop 12. The map in this document shows that entrance and not the main
entrance we are used to - just in case.
Weather: Forecast is for mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of showers
and thunderstorms. Highs in the lower 90's.
With warmer weather with us again, please remember to properly hydrate
(including the night before) before any outdoor activity and to dress
appropriately. Do not hesitate to take a break at any time if you feel you
need to get in the shade or get indoors and always ask for help at any time.
Also, please do not forget your sun screen.
Iron Horses if you can; cages are always welcome and appreciated. The water
truck/store will be open prior to the briefing.
Please remember that our mission is to stand tall, silent, and with honor
and respect for this American veteran and fellow motorcyclist.
Respectfully Submitted,
Mike "Gunner" Lambert
North Texas Ride Captain
