Ladies and Gentlemen,
Below is the final itinerary for a mission we only learned of this morning
and obtained family permission to be involved with this afternoon.
Sometimes it happens this way. We owe every veteran our very best effort
regardless of how much lead time we get before a mission and I know you will
all do your very best to honor Mr. Vincent and his family. Thank you all
for your support of them on such short notice in their time of need.
Steve Lucas
Deputy State Captain
North Texas PGR
FINAL ITINERARY

Mr. Vincent died last Friday in a motorcycle accident in Arkansas while
riding on a road trip with the DFW H.O.G. (Bedford, TX) Chapter where he
served as a Road Captain. His wife Kathy was riding with him when they
slipped off of the road. She was thrown clear but his cruiser landed on top
of him. He passed away very quickly but fortunately Kathy only sustained a
broken finger and minor cuts and bruises. Mr. Vincent was 63 years old.
He will be buried in Wisconsin following a funeral in Haslet.

We will escort Mr. Vincent from the funeral home to the Delta airlines cargo
area of DFW International Airport for the flight to Wisconsin. At this
time, the exact time of departure from the funeral home could not determined
by funeral home personnel, who advised they would have a certain time at the
funeral. They did state that Mr. Vincent must be at the airport no later
than 8:30 AM and that their departure time from the funeral home may be as
early as 6:00 AM. Semper Gumby. For those not able to attend Part 1 of the
mission on Wednesday, a mission update will be sent when staging time for
Part 2 is known.
Weather: Forecast is for a high of 82 degrees with decreasing clouds in the
afternoon on June 3 and a high of 83 degrees with mostly clear skies on June
4.
With warmer weather beginning, please remember to properly hydrate
(including the night before) before any outdoor activity and to dress
appropriately. Do not hesitate to take a break at any time if you feel you
need to get in the shade or get indoors and always ask for help at any time.
Also, please don't forget your sun screen.
Iron Horses if you can; cages are always welcome and appreciated. The
flag/water truck will be present for Part 1 of the mission but not for the
escort (Part 2). Please plan accordingly.
Please remember that our mission is to stand tall, silent, and with honor
and respect for this American patriot and fellow motorcyclist.
Respectfully Submitted,
Dewey Dyer, North Texas Ride Captain
Steve Lucas, North Texas Deputy State Captain
